In an effort to put forth a Cultural Plan for NYC that is truly representative and inclusive, as well as supporting individual artists in essential ways, this will be a critical discussion of the historical and important role diversity plays in our communities’ viability as well as effective equity and diversity strategies for the future of New York City.
CEG representatives as well as NY City Council Members, Stephen Levin, Jimmy Van Bramer, Laurie Cumbo, DCA Commissioner Tom Finkelpearl and others will discuss New York City’s Comprehensive Cultural Plan. CEG members will discuss the role diverse organizations play and CEG’s Cultural Reinvestment Fund proposal. Key funders will share information about their equity strategies.
