The JAPAN CUTS 2014 fan-favorite film is back by popular demand to celebrate the Life of Cats exhibition. Kazuki Kitamura stars as masterless samurai Kyutaro Madarame, who is hired by a dog-loving gang to get rid of their rival gang’s beloved pet—an adorable white cat. Upon raising his sword, however, he cannot bring himself to go through with the act and the cat melts his ronin heart. This charming and hilarious period romp is purr-fect for cat lovers and cinephiles alike!
