SILENT dialogue at The Metropolitan Museum of Art presents a World Premiere Dance Performance.
Please join us as we traverse five galleries of the MET in movement dialogue. In this performance, we investigate ways to bring dance to the public. We invite our audience to be active viewers – seeking us out or coming upon us by chance, choosing where, when, and how to design their own experience. Are we the foreground or background to the art or perhaps a singular immersive experience? Drawing from our diverse backgrounds in various styles of movement, we offer this performance as a gift, a game, a series of questions; all in hopes of initiating a silent dialogue.
The performance is free with admission.
