Ouchi Gallery
170 Tilary St., Suite 105, Brooklyn, NY 11201
In his early 20’s Takeshi traveled to the west coast of America, where he found inspiration in mural art. From there he became self-taught and developed his own style of art. His pursuit for art that could be “expressed in a short period of time” lead him to master brush and spray styles and many kinds of tools finally using a Paint Roller he created his original style. His distinct style of painting which can be used for performances would give the audience an element of surprise and unpredictability from his unique touch and strokes with a paint roller. This would then leave a strong impact in the minds and hears of the audience.
