Asian Arts Alliance
Tribeca Rooftop, 2 Desbrosses St, NYC
To kick off the excitement for the 2015 gala, the Asian American Arts Alliance will be throwing an official kick-off party at WNYC’s beautiful Jerome L. Greene Performance Space. Join us for a fun party featuring rotating DJs, hot new performances, and refreshing drinks — not to mention a fantastic opportunity to connect with artists, friends, and supporters!
The 33rd Anniversary Gala is an annual event that honors Asian American artists with two awards: The 2015 Jadin Wong Award and the Wai Look Award. The 2015 Jadin Wong Award is intended to recognize one emerging Asian American choreographer whose work shows potential for greater achievement and hopes to make a significant impact on the NYC artistic community as a whole.
The Wai Look Award for Outstanding Service to the Arts is intended to recognize and encourage Asian American individuals working as an arts administrator, advocate, leader or equivalent whose active participation in or for the arts has made a considerable impact.
