Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s(BBG) annual Chile Pepper Festival will bring the heat for its 23rd year on Saturday, September 26, 2015. The festival celebrates the fiery fruit of the Capsicum plant with a full day of red-hot music and spicy edibles to sample on Cherry Esplanade, Garden tours, and more.
One of the longest-running events of its kind on the East Coast, BBG’s Chile Pepper Festival features musical performers from around the world burning up the stage, a marketplace with 52 vendors offering a tongue-tingling array of local and exotic delicacies featuring chile peppers, andGarden tours showcasing BBG’s own pepper plantings, plus a special menu of chile-inspired dishes, craft beers, and other offerings from BBG’s Yellow Magnolia Canteen.
