National Asian Artists Project
NYU Skirball Center of Performing Arts, 566 LaGuardia Pl, New York, NY 10012
To celebrate the 5th Anniversary of The National Asian Artists Project, Executive Artistic Director, Baayork Lee, and her very special team are “turning it up” with a special and splashy show called PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE.
The evening will be a line-up of wall-to-wall musical numbers from Broadway shows and featuring highlights from past productions and current material, as well as what Baayork hopes to stage in the future, with her unique company. It is a fantastic opportunity to SHOW OFF the talents in NAAP, from soloists to dancers to choral. The TWIST of the night is that many numbers will be staged by Broadway pros, who are friends and supporters of NAAP, and the evening will be supervised by Directors Baayork Lee and Richard Jay-Alexander. There will also be a full orchestra conducted by Broadway’s Kevin Stites. This is a night you won’t want to miss and a once-in-lifetime opportunity to support this worthy company as they head into the future. Seeing these stars and members of NAAP side-by-side is sure to be a night to remember. For this special night, we are pulling out all the stops and doing it on NYU Skirball’s professional stage with all the bells and whistles that spell BROADWAY!
