Chinese President Xi Jin-Ping is currently visiting New York. As he announced in October 2013 that the “Taiwan issue should not be left to the next generation”, in the foreseeable future, we can expect that China, under his leadership, will exert more pressure to bring Taiwan under its control.

We as Taiwanese American should show the world that we stand with the people of Taiwan. So, we’re organizing a sit-in protest on Monday, 9/28. It will be from 8:30 am to 4 pm at One Dag Hammarskjold Plaza. You’re welcome to join any time.
