Join us to commemorate the World Habitat Day on October 5th!The theme for World Habitat Day 2015 is Public Spaces for All.
Let´s celebrate the adoption of Post-2015 development agenda with stimulating panel discussions on the key developments in the area of public space design.
Streets and public spaces have often been overlooked and undervalued, but are increasingly being considered the backbone of cities. Public spaces are places which are accessible and enjoyable by all without a profit motive and take on various spatial forms, including parks, streets, sidewalks, markets and playgrounds.
It will give us also the opportunity to share thoughts and ideas looking forward to the United Nations Conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development (Habitat III).
Don’t forget to bring a photographic identification document with you to enter our UN building on the event day! Even if you are a UN staff, you need to register in order to have the correct pass to enter.
