This panel spotlights several ongoing anti-gentrification community mobilizations in New York City’s immigrant neighborhoods. The panel presenters are community organizers and/or scholars of immigrant social movements. The panelists will discuss shared concerns among Asian and Latino immigrants, strategies for coalition building as well as the opportunities and challenges in mobilizing for a just city.
