The artists:
Yut Chia: Yut Chia is a Colombian violinist of Chinese descent, who came to NYC at the age of three in pursuit of the American Dream. As leader and founder, Yut Chia was inspired to form Yut and The Hot Four. Yut and the Hot Four has collaborated with various other instrumentalists, and vocalists, including beatboxers. Featured by various recording artists ranging from Usher to Cyndi Lauper, Yut and the Hot Four has had the opportunity to perform in many of New York City’s finest concert halls.
Ivan Polanco: Ivan Polanco is an independent artist hailing from White Plains, NY. With his unique pop/r&b style, he has been catching the attention of audiences within the northeast college & festival scene.Now 22 years old with three albums under his belt, a Youtube channel with over 144,000 views, and years of performance experience from dive bars and cafes to colleges, festivals and music halls, Ivan has a growing fan base across the east coast.
Allen He: Allen He has been a performing magician for over eight years, and has performed on the stages of Brooklyn Technical High School, Binghamton University, Columbus Park, and New York Chinese School (NYCS) for cultural clubs, talent shows, catered events, and nonprofit events. He was the first place winner of Brooklyn Tech’s 2012 Talent Show, and NYCS’s 2013 Talent Show.
Brian Cao, a 22-year-old post-grad from Rutgers who is trying to catch up on as much sleep as he can during his gap year. During his few waking moments, he experiments with various methods of caffeination and occasionally bangs on his guitar.
