Chinese Staff and Workers’ Association
345 Grand Street, New York, NY 10002
Last year in September and October, thousands of working people, tenants, students, small business owners and politicians marched to City Hall, not once but twice! We demanded Mayor de Blasio adopt our Chinatown Working Group rezoning plan. We want height limits in our community to protect ourselves from displacement by tall and luxury developments.
On January 10, 2016, this coming Sunday, at 3pm, Professor Peter Kwong from CUNY-Hunter, Kai Wen Yang, a member from SOAR (Students Organizing Against Reynolds) and Zhuo Ji Zuo, the treasurer from 318 Restaurant Workers Union, will be presenting and leading a discussion about how they got involved in the anti-displacement campaign. Join us to learn more about the campaign! And let’s continue to organize to stop displacement! The location is 345 Grand Street the Chinese Staff and Workers’ Association.
