How does one heal from mental illness? Can Truong, a Vietnam war refugee, was a model student when he was diagnosed with depression and bipolar disorder and his life fell apart – and then was rebuilt. The stigma of mental illness exists in most cultures and particularly within the Asian American community. But with one in four Americans dealing with mental illness every year, it’s an issue that impacts most of us. Director Pearl J. Park will speak with the film.
