Join the JAJA for a private screening of Takeshi Kitano’s award winning film KIKUJIRO. This is a story of a nine-year-old boy Masao leaving Tokyo to find his birth mother, a woman he never met. He is accompanied on his journey across the Japanese countryside by surly, middle-aged petty crook Kikujiro (Kitano), who is not too happy to chaperone.
This is a happy, sad, and funny – feel good movie that everyone can relate to.
