Restaurant owner Fen Fang was exuberant on the inauguration day of her restaurant. She ran the business with her husband who was having an affair. However, she hid the pain she was suffering due to her unfaithful husband. Another drama playing out in the restaurant involved two argumentative customers – a mainlander general and a native Taiwanese councilman – who could agree on nothing and then unexpectedly became in-laws. Different slices of life, tastes of life, in one restaurant.
