Friday, April 15 03pm to 07pm
Flushing Meeting House
137-16 Northern Blvd, Flushing, New York 11354
The Greater Flushing Chamber of Commerce is hosting a micro-granting, crowd-funded community dinner known as SOUP. For a $5 donation, gain access to a potluck dinner where you will vote for and fund one of four projects you think will have the largest positive impact on the greater Flushing community. At the end of the evening, the ballots are counted and all of the donations collected are awarded to the project with the most votes. The SOUP acts as an innovative networking event, connecting projects with potential community partners and volunteers regardless of whether or not they win the cash prize.
While the Earth Week celebration is free of charge, donations for tickets to SOUP may be made at the door, online at https://www.eventbrite.com/, or at the Chamber office, 39-01 Main St, Suite 511.
