The film “Long Duhung: Gendered Impacts of Deforestation” is a documentary film project, highlights how deforestation has impacted the lives and livelihoods of the men and women of a small Dayak Punan community in the village of Long Duhung, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. It then reflects on how the intersection between gender and environment is understood — and measured — more broadly in the international development sector.
