Free, up-to-date maps are a critical resource when relief organizations are responding to disasters or political crises. The Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) creates and provides those maps.
Maps tell us where to go, how to get there, and remind us how far we’ve come. The music on this concert takes us on a trip around the world and into the hearts and minds of those who are on a journey.
The recent earthquakes in Japan and Ecuador have left hundreds of people dead and countless lives forever changed. This concert will honor their lives and bring awareness to the long struggles ahead of them.
The Humanitarian OpenStreetMapTeam is currently assisting in the response efforts, and proceeds from this concert will help their efforts to assist the victims of these tragedies.
