Filmmaker Ken Eng’s father would always tell his family the story about how he walked for 7 days and 6 nights before swimming for 4 hours to Macau to escape starvation in 1966. In 2007, Eng and his father retraced his father’s epic journey back to rural China to America in search of a better life.
