Hunter College High School presents: the inaugural AALFY- the Asian American Leadership Forum for Youth.
AALFY is organized by board members of the Asian Cultural Society of HCHS along with several other student leaders and faculty advisors.
We hope you join us for AALFY’s first year! We are a grassroots conference for high school students in NYC and surrounding cities who hold an interest in leadership and engagement with their communities. The focus of the conference will be on Asian American Roles in Politics with emphases on career paths and initiatives students can take in order to become more active in their sociopolitical and racial spheres. High school students can engage in dialogue about important issues concerning the AAPI community, converse with influential Asian American leaders, discover internship and volunteering opportunities, and network with other youth leaders. We hope the forum will allow you to hone in on specific concerns of the AAPI community and inspire you to take an initiative in creating change.
