A dynamic and hands-on 10-day course, Visual Storytelling invites you to take your ideas and use your creativity to communicate them through video and photography. Led by Emmy Award winning visual storyteller Eduardo Angel and International Center of Photography faculty member Jaime Schlesinger, students plan, shoot, and produce a short video and create a series of images to display in a student exhibition. Throughout the course, guest speakers also introduce renowned Japanese photographers and directors who have influenced their craft.
Course Schedule:
August 1 – 5, 12 – 5 PM
August 8 – 12, 10 AM – 3 PM
Student Exhibition: August 12, 6 PM
Registration Fee: $500 / $450 members. Needs-based scholarships available
