In a year where The New Yorker publishes a crap poem like “Have They Run Out of Provinces Yet?”, Michael Derrick Hudson gives himself a Chinese pen name to get into Best American Poetry (how the #ActualAsianPoets hashtag started), and a lot of white actors play roles meant for Asian actors, I think it’s high time for a reading where the entire line-up is Asian females. They’re poets, essayists, novelists, shorts story writers. Let’s party.
Readings by: Sarah Jean Alexander, Chialun Chang, Jen Hyde, Julie Leung, and Esther Wang.
