Have you always wanted to try drawing outdoors but felt intimidated, but never taken your art materials outdoor? This workshop gets you ready to work outdoors to draw everyone’s familiar subject, Bryant Park. It will start from basic understanding in drawing materials, techniques and composition in the beginning of the class, then students are off to work on their own subject matter. By drawing within limited time frame, students’ decision-making becomes faster and they seek for essential elements, composition, simplifying light and shadow shapes to complete the drawing
Learn the basic skills of watercolor, urban sketching, and drawing taught by the professionals from our Painter in Residence Program. Workshops are limited to 10-12 participants per class (First come, first serve). Registration required. Classes are free and limited supplies will be provided.
