Sunday, June 26 12pm
36th St. and 5th Ave. to West Village, New York
Gay Pride in NYC is much more than just a parade. People come from all over the world every June to celebrate gay rights with tons of LGBT things to do that culminate in the Pride parade–NYC’s biggest gay party. The festivities commemorate the Stonewall riots, which launched the gay-rights movement—that’s why the Pride parade is technically a march, not a parade. But it’s still one hell of a celebration.
