Investigating Cause and Effect, the process of Karma. Eradicating
the misconceptions and commercialized views built around an important teaching living beings should be clear about.
To understand the cases and conditions, one will realize why they do what they do, and why they keep experiencing what they always experienced. Knowing the causes allows one to know their results thus enabling them to change their outcomes accordingly.
The Dharma talk will also consist of Buddha Name Recitation and Chan Investigation (meditating). Explanation of some of the numerous functions of reciting the Buddha’s Name as well as discussion on Chan Meditation.
Question and Answer forum on various topics presented by the attendees.
Up to 15 people can attend. Donations are appreciate but not mandatory.
Wear loose fitting clothing, no perfumes or provocative clothing. Bring a sitting pillow/meditation pillow. Up to 10 mats will be provided to sit on.
Water will be available, and a vegetarian lunch will be ordered for a donation of $5.00.
