The Muppets are always up to something exciting, but when they arrive in New York City, their adventures expand to Big Apple size.
After graduating from college, Kermit, Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie and the rest of the gang hope to take their variety show, Manhattan Melodies, to Broadway. In spite of their catchy melodies and the fact that they’re, you know, the Muppets, the crew can’t seem to catch a break, and eventually, their circle begins to break apart. But Kermit refuses to give up on his dreams, and through the power of teamwork, the Muppets just might get their night on the Great White Way.
Featuring the introduction of the Muppet Babies plus plenty of fantastic cameos, including Liza Minnelli, Brooke Shields and Gregory Hines, this vibrantly funny film proves that the Muppets know a thing or two about show business.
