Welcome to our SPRING FORWARD Event with Dating For a Cause where you get a chance to help beautify Seward Park in Lower Manhattan! For this event, not only will you be able to do some good in the community, but you will have the opportunity to mingle with some of the best people New York has to offer.

Dating For a Cause: “Spreading Love One Charity at a Time”

As you know, NYC experienced a devastating storm this past weekend. Many trees and plants were destroyed at parks across NYC. As citizens of this great city we have a chance to answer the call to help clean up and beautify Seward Park, located in downtown Manhattan. Your help in restoring Seward Park will go a long way to improving the identity of the community! Show that you care and make a true difference in the world!

-WHEN: Saturday, April 3rd, 10am – 1pm.
-WHAT: Restoring the beauty of the park by removing plants and spreading compost and woodchips on the planting beds. You’ll need to bring a pair of work gloves. Otherwise, there’s no need to bring any supplies.
-WHERE: Seward Park (corner of Essex St and Canal St).

Directions by train to Seward Park: Take the F train to downtown Manhattan to EAST BROADWAY. Walk up the stairs and you will be right at the park. We are meeting by the Parks Building located by the flag pole.

We will be celebrating at STAY: Bar & Lounge, located in the Lower East Side. It’s going to be a great night filled with music, non-expensive drinks, and a chance to meet that special someone!

If you volunteered at the Park Project, then your cover is FREE, but if you want to just attend the party, you will be required to pay a small fee at the door. BUT DON’T WORRY! You’re still doing something good for the community as we will be donating part of the proceeds to:

If you did not attend the volunteer project early in the day, it will be a $10 fee at the door,
