A THREAD OF SKY is the story of a family of six fiercely independent women who reunite for a tour of mainland China. It has been called “truly a book for our times” (Alexander Chee) and “a lyrical journey through the heart of contemporary China” (Ann Patchett), while Sigrid Nunez says, “Deanna Fei writes gracefully and with powerful insight and feeling about love and loss, homelands and promised lands, and the various roles of women in family and society.”
A THREAD OF SKY was just named an Indie Next Notable Book and featured in Marie Claire’s “April To-Do List.”
