Program Application Deadline: February 10, 2017
Spring application season for Columbia University’s Cyphers For Justice (CFJ) youth program is now open! Through the use of hip-hop, spoken word, and digital literacy, Cyphers For Justice provides a space for youth voice, youth research, and youth activism for teens between the ages of 14-19. The program is facilitated by a team of scholars, community leaders, and youth board members. In light of the present social and political turbulence across our nation, the Cyphers For Justice Youth Board has established the Spring 2017 theme, “We, the Youth”. Youth will work closely with a team of professors, Columbia University graduate students, youth leaders, and community artists. Once accepted, youth must commit to CFJ weekly workshops.
