May 2, 2017 from 6 PM to 9 PM
NY Hall of Science, 47-01 111th Street, Corona, NY 11368
With delicious food, dazzling drinks, and fantastic networking in a festive atmosphere, the Queens Economic Development Corporation and the Queens Tourism Council hosted Queens Taste 2017 at the New York Hall of Science ( 47-01 111th Street) in Flushing Meadows Corona Park on May 2.
On May 2, 2017 from 6 PM to 9 PM, we expect more than 60 restaurants, beverage purveyors, and dessert makers to provide samples of their products to at least 700 attendees. It’s Queens, so diversity will be on display from first bite with everything from creamy to crunchy, fiery to flaky, and savory to sweet. Astoria’s Sabor de Cuba will probably offer shredded beef with plantains, while La Adelita in Woodside might give away Mexican chalupas. The Nest, a Guyanese/Trinidadian eatery in Richmond Hill, usually dishes out curry, jerk, and BBQ chicken, and Bayside’s Bareburger should bequeath beer-braised bacon with stout onions on a mustard pretzel bun. So delicious!
