Samsung NEXT NY
30 West 26th Street, New York, NY 10010
Asian Women In Business (AWIB), in partnership with Samsung Next, Samsung’s early stage incubation and investment organization, is sponsoring a panel discussion with Asian women Founders and Venture Capitalists.
Our featured Asian women founders will share their hurdles and successes in the New York startup ecosystem. They will be joined by investors who will shed light on the lack of female-led start-ups. We will address the hurdles women face in fund-raising and recommend how to make perceived negatives into positives. Can we improve on the unacceptable statistics which show that women-led companies (Fortune) made up only 4.94% of all VC deals in 2016?
