Pt. Tejendra Narayan Majumdar presents an evening concert inspired by the vibrant, romantic, and ecstatic moods of spring. He will perform spring and evening ragas accompanied by Anubrata Chatterjee on tabla.

Indian sarod maestro Pandit Tejendra Narayan Majumdar is one of the busiest Indian Classical Maestros touring across the globe. He studied with sarod legends Swara Samrat Ustad Ali Akbar Khan and Ustad Bahadur Khan. Tejendra was awarded the President’s Gold Medal for winning the All India Radio Competition in his teens, as well as Sangeet Mahasamman and Banga Bhushan (the two highest civilian honors in the state of West Bengal, India). One of his arranged albums was shortlisted for the Grammy Awards in 2010. Since 1987, he has continuously been performing and teaching all over the United States.
