AAARI’s Annual Gala is attended by 450+ Asian and non-Asian academic, business, civic and community leaders, faculty, staff and students. At the gala we will honor distinguished alumni from The City University of New York, leaders from the community, and student scholarship recipients. Proceeds from the gala go towards our academic publications and public programs such as lectures, annual conference, and student film festival.
As of Fall 2016, the Asian American representation in CUNY is over 61,200, with more than 5,900 faculty and staff, 4,600 graduate students and 50,700 undergraduates of Asian heritage. There are tens of thousands of Asian American CUNY alumni working and living throughout New York and the country. AAARI engages the Asian American community within CUNY, New York City and beyond.

2. Table sponsors are listed on AAARI’s website which reaches thousands of faculty, staff and students within CUNY, and academic, business, civic and community leaders and organizations outside of CUNY.
3. The Gala receives extensive coverage in the Asian American ethnic press.
