November 11 – December 9
New New Yorkers Program
Queens Museum, New York 11368
This 4 weeks long workshop series will focus on rethinking narrative and representational art. Through introducing different ways of image making, participants will learn to use mixture of pencil and watercolor techniques to generate a new narrative that links the participants’ personal history with fictional stories. The instructor will introduce her personal practice and Queens Museum’s current exhibitions as inspirations for participants to generate ideas. The workshop will also include developing a sketchbook and using those sketches to compose a final project.
