From hundreds of hours of research and interviews, 28 men and women share their stories, representing some 20,000 Chinese Americans who patriotically and loyally answered their country’s call to duty. The film also briefly covers the involvement of Chinese Americans prior to World War II, in the American Civil War, Spanish American War and World War I. Narrated by actress Ming-Na and television journalist David Louie.
Followed by Q&A with the filmmaker, Montgomery Hom and sneak preview of his new film, Men without a Country: Chinese in the Civil War.
