The International Restaurant & Foodservice Show of New York is taking place at the Javits Center in New York City and we invite you to join us. For press registration, click here. You will be able to pick up your press badge in room 1B02 when you arrive and will have access to the full schedule of events, listed below. The trade show is open Sunday, March 4 through Tuesday, March 6 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm on Sunday and Monday and 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.

SUNDAY, MARCH 4th – Exhibit Hall Open 10:00am – 5:00pm

Paris Gourmet’s U.S. Pastry Competition – (10:00am – 4:00pm, Awards presented at 4:00pm, Booth 1160). The 2018 showpiece theme is “The Great Race” and competitors inspiration is derived from recognized forms of race such as: car racing, swimming, horse racing, running, cycling and boating
Donut Glazing and Funnel Cakes Gone Wild Culinary Demonstration with Chef Scottish Francis – (10:30am – 11:00am, Center Stage – Booth 2265).
Bake to Give: Signature Cookies with Feed Your Soul’s Famous Baker & Entrepreneur Mya Zoracki – ((11:30am – 12:00pm, Center Stage – Booth 2265).
Maple, Bacon and Chocolate Culinary Demonstration with Chef Bruno Feldeisen – (12:30pm – 1:45pm, Center Stage – Booth 2265).
The Torch Award Presentation – (2:00pm, Center Stage, Booth 2265). The word Torch symbolizes many things including illumination, energy, joy, victory, enlightenment, hope and education. The Torch Award, presented by The Food Shows, was created to honor outstanding chefs who embody all those qualities and characteristics. Please join us as we present the 2018 Torch Award to Geoffrey Zakarian, Chef, Restaurateur, TV Personality and Author
Hip Sip: Battle of the Modern Bartender – (3:30pm – 5:00pm, Center Stage – Booth 2265). In partnership with the Professional Bartenders Association. Bartenders will be judged on creativity, use of product, taste, presentation and flair

How to Become a RockStar Restaurant – (9:00am – 12:00pm, Meeting Room 1C04).This workshop is open to servers, bartenders, key employees, manager and owner. Pre-registration is required*.

Pitch the Press – (10:00am – 10:45am, Education Station – Booth 1445). You are invited to a unique one-hour event to experience presentations from a specially selected group of the most intriguing new products, services, and trends. Each presenter will be given the opportunity to pitch for 2 minutes, followed by a 1-minute Q&A for press and buyers
New York State Restaurant Association Presents: How The Power of Positive Restaurant Culture Drives Business Success – (10:30am – 11:30am, Center Stage – Booth 2265).
Foodservice Council for Women Presents: Amplifying Women’s Leadership – (11:45am – 12:45pm, Center Stage – Booth 2265).The Foodservice Council for Women was created to promote the importance of women and leadership in the foodservice industry. Panelists include: Maneet Chauhan, Morph Hospitality; Ivy Stark, El Toro Blanco; Jilly Stephens, City Harvest; Morgan Tucker, M Tucker; and Victoria Vega, Unidine. Kathleen Wood, Kathleen Wood Partners will moderate. Followed by the Beacon Award Presentation to City Harvest’s CEO, Jilly Stephens.

Chicken Adobo served in a Caliburrito Culinary Demonstration with Chef Jordan Andino – (2:00pm – 3:15pm, Center Stage – Booth 2265).
Rapid Fire Challenge: Meatball Madness Edition – (3:30pm – 5:00pm, Center Stage – Booth 2265). Sponsored and moderated by TotalFoodService. In honor of March Madness the Rapid Fire Challenge brings you Meatball Madness! Help cheer on the chef that has the best tasting meatballs!

Super Good For You Tamales with Smokey Pecan-Chia Mole Culinary Demonstration with Chef Elizabeth Falkner – (12:30pm – 1:30pm, Center Stage – Booth 2265).
Farm to City Expo: Local Seafood Wave of the Future – (12:30pm – 2:00pm, Meeting Room 1C03) As part of the annual Farm to City Expo, the Local Seafood Wave of the Future panel discussion will focus on locally-produced seafood and provide an opportunity to connect New York State’s wild caught and aquaculture producers with restaurant and foodservice buyers.
The Third Eye Education and Culinary Demonstration with Chef Jehangir Mehta – (2:00pm – 3:00pm, Center Stage – Booth 2265).
