From the friends that brought you the first Bubble Tea Festival in NYC…. we are excited to invite you to the 17th Annual Passport to Taiwan Festival!
Passport to Taiwan is the longest running, most attended Taiwanese event in the United States, as well as the largest Asian American event in New York City.
Every year, thousands of New Yorkers join us for a day of festivities to celebrate Taiwanese American Heritage Week designated by Congress in 1999. May is also Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.
The festival is filled with activities for everyone, young and those slightly older. In the festival, participants can sample local delicacies, observe dough figurine makers and calligraphy masters at work in the arts & crafts area, learn about various organizations and agencies, play children’s games, learn about traditional Taiwanese toys in the interactive area, fold cranes in the kids workshop area, and learn more about Taiwan and Taiwanese Americans in the exhibition area.
