Responsibilities include:
- Overall Foundation and Staff Management. Direct all program areas and administration. Includes program development and delivery, staff management, budget and financial management, and legal/regulatory compliance.
- Fundraising. Ensure organization’s fiscal soundness and transparency through vigorous fundraising. Includes continuous expansion of donor bases for private and public funding, donor cultivation, annual fundraising and other special events.
- Community Relations. As key spokesperson for KACF, maintain positive image through sound working relationships with community leaders, funders, the press, and inter-community collaborations.
- Board Support and Leadership. Work closely with board members to ensure KACF’s work is aligned with its mission, policies and goals. Provide leadership to promote board support, interest and growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years’ work experience, in addition to 1+ years’ experience at a nonprofit organization (volunteer work will be considered) OR
- 2+ years’ experience managing a social service program or organization
- Competence in fiscal management and organization strategy/development
- Strong background and experience in fundraising & grant-writing preferred
- Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Korean
- Outstanding communication skills (writing, public speaking, group facilitation)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), QuickBooks
