This year the New York Korean Traditional Music Festival (NYKTMF) will be featuring the renowned Korean singer, ALi. ALi sang Korea’s most beloved folk song at last year’s National Peace Concert at Mount Paektu during the inter-Korean summit between President Moon Jae-In and Chairman Kim Jong-un. In this performance, ALi will be singing both traditional classics and a few of her famous hit songs. Also attending this year’s NYKTMF will be Tae-Pyung-Yang Yu and Eun-Kyung Min. Mr. Yu set a Guinness Book record at age 6 and has performed at the Blue House. Ms. Min has been setting record breaking performances at the prestigious National Changgeuk Company of Korea. Together they will sing “Shim the blind man sees for the first time” which will express the soul of traditional Korean music. Chunseung Lee, Creative Director of “World Traditional Orchestra: Peace,” will collaborate with these 3 sensational musicians for a first-rate performance.
