Based on the success of our previous Easter and Halloween event, we are excited to host “Hello Taiwan Easter Fundraiser” as a family-friendly gathering once again. Our aim is to encourage children to participate and understand the value of giving, as well as supporting a great cause to raise funds for our communities. During this year’s Easter event, we are proud to announce that Hello Taiwan will be donating $50,000 to The American Red Cross to aid in Turkey and Syria Earthquake Relief efforts and also donates $10,000 to support Midwest Hurricane Disaster Relief.

Each child with a paid ticket will have the opportunity to partake in a variety of activities including arts and crafts, games, a dance party, live performance, and a fashion show. Additionally, everyone will have the chance to take a photo with the Easter Bunny.

In addition, children’s apparel brand Kapital K is looking for kids (age 2-8) models to be featured on its online campaign. TC Charton, the only US brand to focus exclusively on Asian Fit Eyeglasses, will also highlight the kids models on their social media campaigns. Bring your kids…it’s their chance to shine!

Admission: $20 Online (one adult free with every paying child.) All proceeds will donate to the Red Cross. As an added bonus, each ticket holder will also receive a complimentary bubble tea and a limited edition “Kapital K” bunny t-shirt (Size 2-8T) valued at $25.

2023「喂台灣」慈善復活節派對和兒童時裝秀

一年一度的Hello Taiwan「喂台灣」慈善復活節派對將於周六(04/15)在紐約台灣會館盛大舉行。今年的復活節活動内容包括兔子手工藝和遊戲、吉他神童現場表演、兒童劇場舞會、 和兒童時裝秀。同時，您還可以喝可口的珍珠奶茶與復活兔合照！此外，兒童服飾品牌Kapital K，還有為亞洲人面孔特別設計的美國眼鏡品牌TC Charton也將在這次的兒童時裝秀尋找兒童模特。

入場費：20美元（每個付費孩子可免費攜帶一位成人）現場價格是$30。 每位持票人可以享用一杯免費珍珠奶茶和一件價值 25 美元的限量版“Kapital K”兔子T恤上衣（尺碼 2-8T）!

今年的活動也希望讓小朋友認識了解「給予」的意義和「慈善」的重要性, 這次的活動將捐款六萬美元給美國紅十字會，以協助土耳其和敘利亞地震救援工作和中西部龍捲風受災戶。 Hello Taiwan鼓勵家長們攜帶小孩一起參加,藉此活動讓孩子們共同參與,並為公益發輝一己之力!

自2012年起，「喂台灣」活動已經募捐近30萬美元，幫助給需要的單位, 包括珊迪颶風Hurricane Sandy（紐約市消防局 FDNY，2012）、海燕颱風Typhoon Haiyan（菲律賓 Consulate General of the Philippines，2013）、家暴關懷（紐約勵馨基金會 Garden of Hope，2014）、 氣爆燙傷（台灣陽光基金會Sunshine Social Welfare Foundation，2015）、 2016為海地馬修颶風(Hurricane Matthew Haiti) 重建募款等、2017年波多黎各在颶風 (Hurricane Maria Puerto Rico) 來襲時造成非常大的損失，居民流離四散, 「喂台灣」也伸出援手募款幫助波多黎各的朋友。2018「喂!台灣」捐贈”颶風邁克 (Hurricane Michael)” 受害者和”麻疹和風疹計劃 (The Measles & Rubella Initiative)”，這是一項全球合作計劃，確保沒有兒童死於麻疹。2019年「喂!台灣」募款捐贈「滾石基金會」，為特殊需求兒童 (也就是身心障礙兒) 在美國找到屬於他們的家。2019年萬聖節募款協助 (兩林基金會 Rainforest Foundation US), 2020年捐贈紅十字會 (響起警號 Sound the Alarm), 2021年募捐國際組織 (人類棲息地 Habitat for Humanity)和美國紅十字 (民間的英雄Heroes Among Us), 2022年復活節「喂!台灣」和 「美國紅十字會」攜手，為(烏克蘭人道主義救濟 Ukraine Humanitarian Relief)和 (2021 年 12 月龍捲風侵襲 2021 December Tornado Outbreak Assistance)籌集募款。2022年的萬聖節為美國紅十字消防安全宣傳活動 (Home Fire Campaign) 及颶風伊恩募款。
