Myth in Motion|Paul Chen Solo Exhibition Opening Reception
What happens when ancient mythology meets contemporary abstract art?
Discover Myth in Motion, a solo exhibition by Taiwanese contemporary artist Paul Chen, featuring 7 abstract paintings inspired by Greek mythology. Through vibrant colors, flowing lines, and layered forms, Chen explores love, desire, sorrow, and memory—bringing timeless myths into a fresh, contemporary world.
Rather than painting gods and heroes, Chen invites us to experience mythology through emotion, imagination, and personal memories. His work blends the rich textures of Western oil painting with the open, contemplative space of traditional Eastern ink painting.
Curated by Tzu-Ying Naomi Chan, this exhibition celebrates Chen’s ongoing artistic journey between Taiwan and New York.
Join us for an evening of art, music, and inspiration. Enjoy the paintings, connect with fellow art lovers, and experience how ancient stories can take on new life through abstract art.
