EVENTS:
I love ink painting. I also notice that even children of two year old can paint with ink naturally through my previous art events. But most of us as adults never have chance to use brush and ink so we are not confident of using it to create something using our imagination.
Mr QX Wang taught a few times in my meetup, including a few calligraphy activities. But what you don’t know is that he is also a pro in ink painting and just came back from China for big exhibitions in Beijing.
I ask a big favor for him to share his ink painting experience with us, if you want to learn, please join us!

Below is the simple bio of Mr QX Wang:
Q. X. Wang, born in 1942 in China, has studios in Beijing and New York. He is a retired English professor and artist for over half century.
Believing that “Difference means art; Great difference means great art; No difference means non-art” (Remarks on Art), he endeavors to employ the best calligraphic strokes for exploration of the newest concepts.
Art critics noticed that Q.X.Wang has achieved an epoch-making breakthrough by probing into the essence of art for revolution (Xu Encun); He has established a style which is both unique and enlightening (Liu Xilin); He has cultivated a new esthetic tendency by drawing from the west to merge into the traditional and by transforming the plain into the splendid (Xie Chunyan). Q. X. Wang has successfully developed an art form that can straddle not only various traditions but also art forms (Dominique Nahas).
Q. X. Wang has been exhibiting internationally in renowned art museums and has collectors all over the world.
