Back to Category Print this page

AsianInNY and Italian Language Inter-Cultural Alliance (ILICA) is taking the first step towards a new cultural generation that is not definable by race or religion but on the interests and efforts asserted by all – a path to true ‘Inter-Cultural Alliance’.  Together, both organizations strive to achieve this global understanding through social events, arts, performances, education, literature, and charity.

AsianInNY is New York’s leader in Asian social networking and multi-cultural sharing organization.  ILICA an Italian American Foundation is a renaissance in strengthening the identity of the Italian language and culture.  With this, AsianInNY is called to mark the first chapter, in this dynamic and ever-changing environment, to develop a cultural experience that focuses on the exchange of its heritage and knowledge to the betterment of a stronger generation.

Serving as a complimentary instrument towards the first step to this future, ILICA and University for Foreigners of Siena (UNISTRASI) will offer a one month scholarship to a member of AsianInNY to learn the Italian culture and language in Siena, Italy.  This scholarship will be handed to the AsianInNY organization at the 6th annual ILICA Cultural Event on November 10th, 2010 in New York City.

AsianInNY calls upon anyone who is interested in this wonderful opportunity to apply by submitting their resume and application by Jan 31st 2011, in 350-400 words, explaining why they should be chosen.  To inquire more details, please contact us at Scholarship@AsianInNY.com.
