The highly anticipated newcomer and New York based menswear designer, Ninh Nguyen, launched his Autumn/Winter 2011 collection during New York Fashion Week on February the 12th, 2011 with a fashion installation and Charity art auction housed in a private events loft located in the West Village, New York.
Ninh is a menswear designer who aims to design for those who are confident, intellectual, open minded, and cultured. AsianInNY was among a strictly invite-only fashionable crowd and we were very delighted to see a crowd full of great looking people who came out to support his show regardless of the frigid cold night!
We also got a chance to interview Ninh regarding his inspiration for Fall 2011 collection as well as his goals for the next season. We were truly inspried by Ninh and his continued corperation in supporting charities. Ninh didn’t only want to make an impact to media, buyers, family and friends who will attend on a fashion level, but also to inspire and raise awareness about the collaboration of two important charities: Child Education International and Hope for the Silent Voices. We applaud you Ninh!
